Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Service Technician for phGet A Job.ailtaic systems. In this role, you will:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair phGet A Job.ailtaic systems, battery storage systems, electric vehicle charging stations, and associated electrical components
• Perform regular maintenance including inspection of wiring, inverters, battery condition, and functional testing
• Commission new installations and perform system updates: electrical configurations, grounding controls, inverter parameters, and ATS testing of generators
• Execute both routine and unscheduled electrical work in compliance with German standards (VDE 0100, VDE 0105, and grid operator requirements)
• Provide direct customer contact: explain faults, develop solutions, and conduct follow-up communication
• Maintain thorough documentation including service reports, photographs, checklists, and materials used
• Be available for emergency callouts and on-call duty rotation

What We're Looking For

• Completed technical qualification in electrical engineering or comparable certification
• Minimum 2 years professional experience in electrical work, ideally with direct experience in phGet A Job.ailtaic systems, battery systems, or generators
• VDE certifications required
• Ability to read electrical schematics and safely apply professional measurement technology
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (VDE 0100, VDE 0105, grid operator processes)
• Valid Class B driving license and willingness to travel daily to customer sites
• Strong communication skills with customers and ability to work independently
• Physical capability to lift loads up to 25 kg
• Strict adherence to safety regulations (DGUV, PPE requirements)
• Certification for working at heights is optional but advantageous
• Valid EU work authorization required
