Responsibilities
We are representing a well-established IT services provider in Hamburg, and we're looking for an IT Service Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will serve as the central point of contact between clients and the technical team.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Receiving and coordinating customer inquiries, incidents, and service requests via phone and in person
- Logging, prioritizing, and tracking service tickets through completion
- Assessing the urgency and priority of technical issues
- Coordinating deployment schedules for IT technicians
- Assigning tasks to the appropriate technical staff members
- Monitoring open tickets, deadlines, and committed response times
- Proactively communicating status updates to customers
- Identifying potential escalations and taking timely action
- Coordinating between customers, technical teams, sales, and back-office functions
- Preparing and coordinating smaller IT projects and assignments
- Verifying that tickets and incidents are fully resolved and documented
- Supporting continuous improvement of service processes
What We're Looking For
You don't need to be a deep technical specialist, but you should have solid foundational IT knowledge. You should be able to assess whether a server outage, firewall issue, or workstation problem requires different priority levels.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone with strong organizational skills, reliability, communication abilities, and initiative. You don't wait for someone to ask about a ticket—you proactively maintain oversight and ensure matters move forward.
Required qualifications:
- Genuine enthusiasm for customer contact and communication
- Strong service and customer orientation
- Excellent organizational capabilities
- Independent and structured working style
- High degree of reliability and sense of responsibility
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Calm and composed approach during urgent incidents
- Basic understanding of IT and technical relationships
Preferred experience:
- Background in IT services, IT support, or technical service environments
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, helpdesk platforms, or dispatch coordination
