Paid Social Account Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media agency seeking a Paid Social Account Manager to join their London team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day operations for client accounts, working closely with senior leadership and global teams to deliver exceptional paid social campaigns.

Campaign Management:

• Develop comprehensive paid social media plans that align with client objectives and KPIs, clearly articulating campaign tactics including channels, budget, audience targeting, and creative formats
• Execute end-to-end setup of paid social campaigns across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap, TikTok), utilizing advanced features such as bid rules and third-party optimization tools
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure campaigns meet best practice standards
• Monitor campaign performance and pacing, troubleshooting and optimizing to improve results
• Produce detailed weekly and monthly performance reports in Excel and lead client presentations
• Write insightful performance commentary identifying trends and actionable recommendations
• Deliver end-of-campaign reporting, quarterly reviews, and standalone project analysis

Client & Partner Management:

• Serve as the primary social media point-of-contact for assigned clients
• Demonstrate deep understanding of media and technology developments, identifying opportunities for testing and innovation in paid social
• Build and maintain relationships with key media partners across major social platforms

People Management:

• Support line managers in overseeing junior team members, monitoring workloads and ensuring deadlines are met
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders via email, chat, video, and in-person meetings
• Participate in recruitment processes, attending interviews and representing the team to potential candidates
• Contribute to internal training sessions and foster a collaborative team environment

Operational Excellence:

• Develop and implement testing and learning agendas that drive actionable insights
• Collaborate with planning teams and channel specialists to ensure paid social complements the wider marketing mix
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of agency finance processes

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings proven expertise in paid social media management along with strong client relationship skills:

• Experience working in digital marketing or an agency-based role with demonstrated track record managing clients or external stakeholders
• Extensive experience setting up and optimizing paid social campaigns across multiple major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap, TikTok, etc.)
• Platform training certifications (e.g., Meta Blueprint) are a plus
• Experience planning large-scale paid social campaigns across brand and direct-response objectives
• Strong analytical skills with experience compiling detailed end-of-campaign reports and presentations
• Knowledge of structuring client review presentations (QBRs, annual reviews)
• Comfortable presenting to clients and leading calls independently
• Collaborative team player with a friendly, can-do attitude
• Experience line managing individuals or training others in paid social is preferred
• Must have the right to work in the UK
