Paid Social Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global media organization in their search for a Paid Social Manager to join their London team. Our client operates at the intersection of media investment, data intelligence, and creative strategy, supporting some of the world's most recognized brands. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale paid social campaigns across diverse business verticals including entertainment, retail, and digital services.

Responsibilities

Campaign Management

• Develop comprehensive paid social media plans that align with client objectives and KPIs, articulating clear rationale for proposed campaign tactics including channels, budget, audience targeting, and creative formats
• Manage end-to-end campaign setup across major social platforms, utilizing advanced features such as bid rules and third-party optimization tools
• Ensure quality assurance checks are conducted regularly to maintain best practice standards across all campaigns
• Monitor campaign performance and pacing, troubleshooting and optimizing to improve results
• Produce detailed weekly and monthly performance reports in Microsoft Excel, leading client calls to present results
• Write insightful performance commentary identifying trends and recommending actionable next steps
• Create in-depth analysis including end-of-campaign reports, quarterly reviews, and standalone project assessments

Client & Partner Management

• Serve as primary social point-of-contact for assigned clients, ensuring confidence in team deliverables
• Stay current on media and technology developments, identifying opportunities for testing and innovation in paid social
• Build and maintain relationships with key platform partners including Meta, Twitter, Snap, TikTok, and Pinterest

People Management

• Support effective management of junior team members, monitoring workloads and prioritizing to meet deadlines
• Communicate clearly and timely with internal and external stakeholders via email, chat, video, and in-person
• Lead by example, motivating less experienced team members through regular meetings and training sessions
• Participate in recruitment processes, attending interviews and representing the team to candidates

Operational Excellence

• Develop and implement testing and learning agendas that drive actionable insights across social platforms
• Collaborate with planning teams and channel specialists to ensure paid social complements the broader marketing mix
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of mandatory finance processes, working with team members to minimize queries

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience in a digital marketing or agency role with a track record of managing client or external stakeholder relationships
• Extensive hands-on experience setting up and optimizing paid social campaigns across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap, TikTok, etc.)
• Experience planning large-scale paid social campaigns across both brand awareness and direct-response objectives
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, comfortable leading client calls and presentations
• Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and friendly demeanor

Bonus Qualifications:

• Platform certifications (e.g., Meta Blueprint) demonstrating technical expertise
• Experience creating detailed end-of-campaign reports and quarterly business review presentations
• Line management experience or proven ability to train and develop junior team members
• Knowledge of third-party optimization, creative, and measurement tools

Location & Work Arrangement:

• Based in London with a hybrid working model (approximately four days per week in office)
