Responsibilities
Our talent team is representing a confidential logistics organization operating a state-of-the-art fulfillment center in the Berlin/Brandenburg area. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will take full ownership of keeping advanced material handling equipment running at peak performance during your shift. Your day-to-day work includes:
- Detecting and resolving electrical and mechanical malfunctions in automated systems, working closely with operational supervisors
- Collaborating directly with equipment suppliers when complex technical issues arise
- Analyzing system failures to prevent recurrence and implementing structural improvements
- Performing scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize system availability
- Coaching junior colleagues to elevate the overall team capability
What We're Looking For
- Ausbildung and/or Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or chemical engineering
- 7+ years of experience in a technical or maintenance role
- Hands-on knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including measurement and camera systems
- Working experience with software tools such as CMMS and/or ICS/SCADA platforms
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Independent problem-solver who takes initiative and works in a goal-oriented manner
- Fluency in English and/or German
