Maintenance Supervisor (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization operating a highly automated fulfillment operation near Berlin/Brandenburg. As Maintenance Supervisor, you will take operational responsibility for facility maintenance during your shift and lead a team of Maintenance Technicians working with advanced intralogistics systems.

Your responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop your team: Supervise Maintenance Technicians during your shift, provide daily coaching, and support their professional development
• Coordinate shift operations: Set priorities, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure high equipment availability and quality standards
• Manage critical incidents: Lead your team during technical problems and work closely with Operations to minimize downtime
• Ensure safety and structure: Maintain adherence to safety standards and ensure clean, organized work practices across the facility
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and implement Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives with your team
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance Engineers, and external maintenance service providers

What We're Looking For

• Completed technical vocational training with further qualification as Technician or Master craftsperson, or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable technical field
• 10+ years of experience in a technical or maintenance environment, ideally in automated logistics or manufacturing settings
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience as Team Lead, Lead Technician, Supervisor, or similar role
• Hands-on mentality with understanding of both technical and operational aspects of maintenance
• Experience with Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement methodologies with practical application skills
• Structured working style with ability to take ownership and maintain overview during critical situations
• Fluent English required; German language skills are a significant advantage
• Willingness to work in a shift system
