Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential food manufacturing organization in Starnberg seeking a Product Manager for Food & Private Label brands. In this role, you will analyze market and consumer trends to develop new product ideas and marketing concepts for both branded and private label products in the food sector.

You will manage product projects within the food industry and coordinate the implementation of new products together with product development and production teams. Your responsibilities include developing sales promotion measures and creating presentation and sales materials to support successful product marketing.

Additionally, you will prepare sales and revenue forecasts, manage external agencies including budget responsibility, and support the sales team during customer meetings. You will work closely with sales, product development, and production departments, and represent product management at field sales meetings and trade shows.

What We're Looking For

You hold a completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, Marketing Management, or a comparable economic discipline.

You bring several years of experience as a Product Manager in the food industry or FMCG sector, or as a Brand Manager FMCG, ideally with experience handling both branded and private label products. Strong foundational knowledge in product management for food or FMCG is essential.

You possess very good MS Office skills, good English language proficiency, and a solid understanding of market analysis, sales planning, and sales-oriented marketing. Important personal qualities include initiative, strong communication and persuasion skills, as well as an independent, results-oriented, and pragmatic working style.
