Senior Research Consultant DACH (B2B Focus) (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential market research consultancy seeking a Senior Research Consultant to lead their specialized B2B research unit in the DACH region. This role focuses on complex quantitative projects targeting professional decision-makers and niche business audiences rather than standard consumer panels.

In this position, you will:

• Manage quantitative B2B research projects from end to end, including screening design, questionnaire development, platform configuration, fieldwork monitoring, and data delivery
• Design and optimize study methodologies across Target Group Analysis, Usage & Attitude studies, Pricing research, and Concept Testing for hard-to-reach professional audiences
• Serve as a senior advisory partner for consultancy and corporate clients, providing guidance on sample feasibility, survey logic, and research approaches under tight deadlines
• Collaborate with commercial teams on project scoping, feasibility assessments, and methodology definition for complex client requests
• Develop standardized B2B screening protocols, sampling frameworks, and best practices to ensure delivery speed and research quality across the team
• Create executive-ready reports and present complex findings through clear, compelling storytelling to senior stakeholders

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 5+ years of quantitative market research experience with demonstrated focus on surveying B2B target groups and professional decision-makers (agency or consulting background required)
• Hands-on expertise designing studies, writing questionnaires, and executing quantitative projects across core B2B use cases
• Proven ability creating executive-level reports and presenting data insights to senior client stakeholders
• Strategic, commercially minded approach with confidence to guide clients and defend research decisions under pressure
• Excellence in high-velocity environments, managing multiple concurrent projects while meeting tight deadlines
• German fluency at C2 level required, plus strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Pragmatic, proactive, and resilient mindset with passion for data quality and innovation
