Project Controller

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential rail technology organization in Lincoln that is experiencing rapid growth. Our talent team has been engaged to find a Project Controller who will play a crucial operational role coordinating field teams and driving utilization metrics. This position offers a clear progression path into full Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain 6-to-12-week forward schedules, translating deployment targets into field shift plans for implementation teams
• Liaise persistently with client stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person meetings to secure shift bookings and remove delivery obstacles
• Dynamically adapt to project changes by reallocating field resources, managing shift cancellations, and balancing workloads to achieve 80%+ utilization targets
• Maintain operational excellence by keeping equipment distribution schedules accurate and overseeing training documentation
• Track team performance metrics, log shift variations, and deliver weekly utilization reports to Project Managers
• Ensure data integrity across internal delivery systems

What We're Looking For

• Proven background in resource planning, field service dispatch, workforce scheduling, or project coordination
• Confident, proactive communication skills with the ability to follow up effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong spreadsheet proficiency and exceptional organizational abilities
• Demonstrated capacity to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
• Detail-oriented approach with strong technical aptitude
• Bonus: Prior experience scheduling shift-based or field teams, or exposure to rail, construction, utilities, or high-growth settings

Pay
