About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential quantum computing organization seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing for an open-source SDK focused on error correction technology. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Cambridge, UK, working in a hybrid arrangement.

Our client is at the forefront of specialized computing infrastructure, partnering with leading hardware providers and research institutions globally. They've recently secured significant funding to accelerate their research and development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop positioning, messaging and value proposition for an open-source SDK, working closely with Product and Engineering teams
  • Segment go-to-market strategy for different audiences: software developers, computing companies and labs, and learners
  • Increase SDK adoption by software developers through in-person and virtual workshops, working closely with community engineers
  • Drive adoption at quantum computing companies, HPC centres and national labs through targeted engagement programs
  • Create compelling technical content, demonstrations, tutorials, case studies and adoption campaigns
  • Partner with Engineering to improve developer onboarding journey, documentation, tutorials and sample applications
  • Define and monitor adoption metrics including developer engagement, community growth, product usage and conversion opportunities
  • Track SDK competitor activity and report on relative adoption growth versus peer group
  • Stay current with important engineering, science and product developments in the industry
  • Represent the voice of developers and users internally, ensuring customer insight shapes product direction and developer experience
  • Collaborate as a key member of a Marketing team of 6-8 people

This role involves international travel to industry events approximately 2-3 times per year.

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

  • Experience in product marketing for developer tools, SDKs or open-source software
  • Experience working in a B2B deep tech environment
  • Proven success growing adoption of developer platforms, open-source software or technical communities
  • Skill in articulating complex technical concepts through clear and compelling storytelling
  • Experience working with technical audiences such as software engineers, researchers or scientific computing communities
  • Collaborative, cross-functional team player who thrives in fast-moving, rapidly evolving environments
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Highly desirable:

  • Experience coordinating and delivering educational events and workshops for developers and end users
  • Product marketing experience in quantum computing, semiconductors, HPC, AI infrastructure, or another deep tech field

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £61,500 to £80,000 depending on experience

The client offers a comprehensive benefits package including annual bonus plan, private medical insurance, life insurance, contributory pension scheme, equity participation, 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and enhanced family leave.
