About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fashion-tech startup based in Germany that is building a mobile application to help users rediscover their existing wardrobe, create outfit combinations, and plan their daily style. Our talent team is searching for a Social Media, Content & Community Intern (m/w/d) who wants to shape how this brand connects with people who care about personal style and sustainable fashion choices.

This is a remote, part-time internship with flexible start dates. You'll work directly with the founder to develop content strategy, create engaging social media formats, and build an authentic community around the product.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce content ideas for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Stories focused on personal style, wardrobe discovery, and everyday fashion decisions
• Appear on camera to present content, interview users, and demonstrate product features if comfortable doing so
• Build and nurture an engaged community by responding to questions, initiating conversations, and creating participatory content formats
• Identify and connect with creators and influencers whose audiences align with the brand values
• Provide feedback on brand messaging, user communication, and product positioning based on community insights
• Track what resonates with the audience—which topics spark conversation, what motivates people to try the app, and where messaging could be clearer

What We're Looking For

• Genuine interest in fashion, personal style, and how people express themselves through clothing
• Understanding of social media culture, community dynamics, and what makes content engaging on platforms like Instagram and TikTok
• Practical experience creating content, managing social accounts, or contributing to creative projects—please describe your specific contributions
• Strong written and spoken German with the ability to communicate clearly and authentically
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity to different fashion communities and lifestyle perspectives
• Judgment to assess whether content or partnerships align with brand values
• Self-direction and reliability in managing agreed-upon tasks and meeting commitments
• Openness to experimentation, feedback, and skill development
• Comfort appearing on camera is highly valued but not required
• Experience with video editing, design tools, or creator partnerships is a plus

You don't need a large existing following or a perfect CV. We want to see evidence that you've tried things, learned from them, and are ready to build on that foundation.

Pay

This internship is unpaid, subject to legal requirements for your specific internship category being met. This will be clarified before any agreement begins. The client is self-funded and not yet generating revenue.
