Compliance Koordinator – Datenschutz & Informationssicherheit in Voll- oder Teilzeit (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consulting organization in Heidelberg seeking a Compliance Coordinator specializing in Data Protection and Information Security. This role reports directly to senior leadership and focuses on critical governance functions.

In this position, you will:

• Implement and continuously improve the data protection and information security management system, including ISO 27001 and TISAX standards
• Serve as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders across multiple entities on compliance matters related to data protection and information security
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, and manage data protection and security incident responses
• Review and negotiate data processing agreements with customers and service providers independently, coordinating closely with departments and external data protection officers
• Participate in risk analyses and develop technical and organizational measures, including awareness campaigns and training programs
• Monitor regulatory developments in data protection and information security, assessing their impact on the organization
• Create, review, and maintain policies, process documentation, and data protection records
• Optionally contribute to Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and ESG initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Completed university degree or commercial training with at least 2 years of professional experience in data protection, information security, or compliance
• Structured, independent work style with both process-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Very good German and English language skills; additional languages are a plus
• IT affinity and proficiency with MS Office, Confluence, SharePoint, and common collaboration tools
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to shape processes and look beyond immediate tasks
• Available for full-time or part-time employment
