(Senior) Manager SAP FI/CO (m/w/d) – S/4HANA Finance

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consulting firm specializing in digital transformation for manufacturing and industrial clients. As a Senior Manager SAP FI/CO, you will:

• Plan, manage, execute, and oversee international SAP ERP and S/4HANA implementation, transformation, and rollout projects with a focus on Finance (FI/CO)
• Serve as the technical point of contact for defining end-to-end financial processes
• Implement new solutions and strategies to optimize global SAP systems for clients
• Analyze, design, and implement business processes in finance and controlling
• Identify and proactively handle project issues, developing solutions that balance business value and resource constraints
• Support presales activities and help build and maintain client relationships
• Contribute to company development and the evolution of project management methodologies
• Depending on role and seniority: Lead and mentor team members in technical and functional development

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed university degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification
• Minimum 8 years of experience in designing, executing, controlling, and leading SAP ERP projects with a focus on Finance, plus initial knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
• Experience harmonizing business processes in industrial or manufacturing companies
• Multi-year expertise in designing global accounting standards and processes, New General Ledger and/or Universal Journal, parallel accounting per IFRS/HGB, segment reporting, New Asset Accounting, Credit Management, Cash Management, and data migration in SAP environments
• Strong methodological knowledge in project management
• Very good German and English language skills; additional languages are advantageous
• Analytical and conceptual mindset with strong communication skills across all management levels in multicultural environments
• Willingness to travel, including occasional international assignments
