Solutions Architect (Portuguese speaking) – Madrid OR Paris

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential data and AI platform organization seeking a Portuguese-speaking Solutions Architect for their Paris or Madrid office. This is a strategic technical role where you'll lead architecture discussions, drive platform adoption, and serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers across data engineering, machine learning, and real-time analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for enterprise accounts, from discovery through production deployment and consumption growth
• Lead complex architecture discussions, designing scalable solutions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineering leads, and technical directors
• Drive technical wins in competitive scenarios by demonstrating platform differentiation through custom-built solutions
• Develop technical specialization in a chosen domain (streaming, ML/AI, data governance, or migrations) and become a go-to resource for your team
• Orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions for complex customer needs
• Influence product direction by providing structured feedback on customer requirements and competitive gaps

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or senior hands-on technical roles
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL with demonstrated live coding, debugging, and solution-building skills
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture: scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native data platforms
• Experience with production deployments on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including infrastructure, security, and governance
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders through whiteboarding, design reviews, and trade-off analysis
• Track record of driving platform adoption and consumption growth within enterprise accounts
• Excellent communication skills translating complex architectures into business value for technical and executive audiences
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (required)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have:

• Relevant platform certifications in data engineering, ML, or cloud architecture
• Experience with competitive data platforms and cloud-native services
• Background in data/AI companies or cloud providers
• Industry domain expertise in Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, or Media
