Product Owner AI (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential MedTech organization seeking a Product Owner AI to take full ownership of a new AI-based medical device. You will manage the product's technical specification, backlog, and requirements from end to end—from feature scoping through implementation and international roll-out. This role serves as the central bridge between medical, regulatory, and AI teams.

• Own the product lifecycle: feature scoping, implementation, launch, and international deployment
• Translate medical and business requirements into clear technical specifications and a prioritized backlog based on input from users, markets, and internal stakeholders
• Support the MDR compliance process by providing technical and product input for regulatory decisions on intended use, risk assessment, and output presentation
• Own the software requirements specification (SRS) and collaborate closely with the AI team to specify and integrate the MDR-certified AI system into the product
• Work with the product team to deploy the device across multiple markets on the existing platform, adapting to local requirements as needed

What We're Looking For

• Technical background or hands-on experience with software/API specifications
• Ability to navigate fluidly between technical AI/engineering details and regulatory, medical, and business perspectives, translating requirements in both directions
• Motivation to work hands-on in a startup environment, balancing pragmatism with structure
• Strong ownership mindset, structured working style, and drive to push initiatives forward while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus but not required)
• Relevant experience in product management or a comparable role, ideally with exposure to AI products, regulated environments (e.g., MDR), or internationalization
