Werkstudent:in – Social Media / Content Creation

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential FoodTech organization in Berlin seeking a working student for social media and content creation. In this role, you will create authentic content that drives engagement across organic social channels and performance advertising campaigns. Working closely with the social media manager and marketing team, you will:

• Develop creative concepts and appear on camera to produce original content, with a focus on Instagram Reels and TikTok
• Edit your own video content using CapCut for fast-paced post-production
• Create visual assets and graphics using Canva and AI tools to streamline your workflow
• Scout daily social media trends and identify viral formats that align with our client's brand presence
• Produce and edit performance ads in collaboration with the marketing team, creating new hooks for target audiences
• Test trending formats by executing them directly on camera

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a degree program in marketing, design, communications, media studies, or a related field, with at least one year remaining in their studies. You should have:

• Demonstrated experience creating social media content with a personal account showcasing your work
• Strong shooting skills using smartphones, including understanding of lighting and framing
• Proficiency in quick video editing for short-form content using tools like CapCut
• Natural on-camera presence and comfort representing a brand with an engaging, authentic personality
• Deep passion for social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok, with strong instincts for digital trends
• An eye for aesthetics and visual composition
• Very good German language skills and good English skills at C1 level
• Availability for 15-20 hours per week
• Location in Berlin or surrounding area, with ability to work at least 50% of your time in the office for collaboration and team dynamics
• Enthusiasm for the health-focused food industry and comfort in an ambitious scale-up culture
