About This Opportunity
Our client, a confidential healthcare technology organization, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their development team in Mainz. This role offers the opportunity to take genuine ownership of technical solutions while contributing to a meaningful architectural evolution of production systems used daily in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and ReactJS
- Take end-to-end ownership of features from technical design through production release
- Contribute to architectural modernization efforts, transitioning toward modular architecture with clear domain boundaries
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated release processes
- Implement AI-assisted development practices while maintaining sound technical judgment in architectural decisions and code reviews
- Manage releases within established change management processes
- Ensure software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and mentoring of team members
- Work with healthcare communication standards including FHIR and HL7
What We're Looking For
- Degree or vocational qualification in Computer Science, Software Development, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience with C#,.NET Core, and Entity Framework
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, MS SQL, and modern JavaScript technologies (React, TypeScript, Angular JS, jQuery)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Azure hosting
- Knowledge of healthcare communication standards such as FHIR or HL7
- Experience taking end-to-end ownership of services or domains from design through production
- Confidence using AI-assisted development tools with the ability to critically evaluate outputs
- Fluent English skills (B2+ level required)
- German language skills are a plus
