About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking an intern to support their Business Development and Microsoft Dynamics 365 initiatives in Cologne. This internship offers hands-on experience in business software sales, digital transformation, and modern cloud technologies.

During your internship, you will gain deep insights into the sales of business software solutions and support teams in acquiring new customers for innovative Microsoft-based technologies. Responsibilities

• Support the sales team in identifying new business opportunities around enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, and AI solutions
• Research potential customers, industries, and market opportunities to help develop new sales channels
• Identify relevant contacts at target companies via LinkedIn, Xing, and other business platforms to support lead generation
• Analyze company profiles, current digitalization initiatives, and possible use cases for modern business technologies
• Assist in preparing customer meetings, workshops, presentations, and sales activities
• Collaborate with sales and consulting teams on concepts for digitalization, ERP, CRM, and AI projects
• Maintain and update sales information in CRM systems and gain insights into modern sales processes
• Support marketing and business development initiatives to position our client as a leading technology partner

What We're Looking For

Academic Background: Currently enrolled in business, social sciences, humanities, computer science, industrial engineering, or a comparable field with interest in gaining practical experience in sales and consulting

Technology Enthusiasm: Interest in modern business software, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, and the digital transformation of organizations

Communication Skills: Approachable personality, strong team collaboration abilities, and professional, positive presence

Analytical Mindset: Enjoy analyzing companies and business models to identify new business potential

Initiative: Structured work approach, willingness to take responsibility, and desire to actively contribute to team success

Language Skills: Excellent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken

Internship Details: Ideally 4-6 months duration with flexible start date; potential for continuation as working student or junior role after successful completion
