Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media organization in Berlin seeking a Full Stack Product Developer to join their growing tech team as the third internal developer. You will take on a central role working across the entire development lifecycle—from initial concept through deployment, operations, and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, APIs, and apps that directly impact business processes and editorial workflows
  • Working with Statamic-based platforms and evolving the CMS architecture
  • Building new features using PHP, Laravel, PostgreSQL, Livewire, and modern JavaScript while continuously improving existing solutions
  • Implementing and optimizing Large Language Models and coding agents for internal process automation and new product capabilities
  • Developing and integrating RESTful APIs, including connections to systems like ActiveCampaign
  • Contributing to configuration, maintenance, and security of Linux servers and deployment processes
  • Translating requirements from diverse stakeholders into clear technical solutions
  • Bringing structure to complex or incompletely defined tasks, turning ideas into actionable products
  • Collaborating closely with product owners, editorial teams, and leadership

What We're Looking For

Our client values technical understanding, communication skills, and the ability to quickly translate complex requirements into effective solutions over mastery of every tool in their stack.

Required qualifications:

  • Strong experience in software development with proficiency in at least one relevant programming language
  • Experience with web applications, APIs, and databases
  • Interest in working with Laravel, Statamic, PostgreSQL, and Livewire—willingness to learn or deepen expertise
  • Understanding of how to use LLMs and coding agents responsibly in software development, or eagerness to learn
  • Familiarity with Linux servers, deployment processes, and IT security fundamentals, or readiness to develop these skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex problems, prioritize, and break them into concrete next steps
  • Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-directed, reliable, solution-oriented work style
  • Ability to maintain overview when requirements shift, information is incomplete, or multiple priorities compete
  • Excellent German language skills for team and stakeholder communication

What matters to our client: They seek someone who takes ownership, asks questions, and actively contributes in a dynamic environment. You should be comfortable navigating different perspectives, advocating for your ideas convincingly, while remaining pragmatic and collaborative in reaching solutions.

Work arrangement: Permanent position available part-time or full-time. Three days per week in their Berlin-Mitte office, two days mobile/remote. 28 days annual leave with flexibility in working hours.
