About This Opportunity
We are representing a well-established organization in Dortmund that is expanding its internal SAP team. Our client is building dedicated SAP EWM expertise in-house and seeks an experienced consultant to develop warehouse management capabilities and shape logistics processes from within.
This is a permanent, hybrid position based in Dortmund with significant autonomy and the opportunity to establish EWM practices within a growing team.
Responsibilities
- Support and develop SAP EWM systems within the organization
- Design and optimize logistics processes including customizing configuration
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform error analysis and troubleshooting
- Organize and support software testing activities
- Act as liaison between IT, logistics operations, and external service providers
- Contribute to building the internal EWM competency center
What We're Looking For
- Several years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM, ideally including customizing
- University degree or equivalent vocational training and further education
- Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics processes
- Project management experience is highly valued
- Basic ABAP knowledge is advantageous
- Analytical, structured, and independent working style
- Strong communication skills with a consulting mindset
- Excellent German language skills required; English is a plus
