Internship / Working Student Business Development DACH

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential Climate Tech organization in the renewable energy sector. They're seeking a motivated Working Student or Intern to join their Business Development team in Berlin for a 6-month engagement starting January 2027.

In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience in B2B SaaS sales, working directly with business owners in the heating and solar installation industries. You'll manage the complete sales cycle independently—from initial outreach through closing deals—while collaborating closely with the founding team in a fast-growing startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contact decision-makers at target companies to schedule product demonstrations and explain how the software solution simplifies planning and sales processes
• Manage the entire sales cycle independently: first contact, sales presentations, account activation, and billing coordination
• Maintain and update the CRM system diligently, tracking all active leads through to closure
• Take ownership of KPI achievement, create regular sales reports, and ensure targets are met
• Work closely with the leadership team to drive revenue growth and refine sales strategies
• Contribute proactive ideas to improve sales processes and customer engagement

What We're Looking For

• Fluent German language skills (written and spoken) required
• Prior customer-facing or startup experience is ideal but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills with the ability to guide conversations toward desired outcomes
• Self-organized, proactive approach with ability to work independently
• Motivated to win your own customers even in an internship capacity
• Interest in renewable energy or eagerness to learn about the climate tech sector
• Available for a 6-month commitment starting January 2027
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin (office located near Weinbergspark in Berlin-Mitte)

Compensation

This is a paid internship/working student position. The client offers base compensation plus the opportunity to earn commission on closed deals. Specific compensation details will be discussed during the screening process.
