About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology organization in Berlin that connects professionals in the scientific community. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with deep React expertise to join a collaborative product team focused on building publisher-facing platforms.
This is a full-time position based in Berlin, Germany. You'll work alongside JavaScript and PHP engineers, product managers, UX designers, and writers in a team that values communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Build web interfaces using TypeScript and React for new products and features
- Integrate frontend components with backend systems using GraphQL and PHP
- Maintain and enhance existing features and related infrastructure
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products
- Take ownership of your solutions and continuously improve them
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of frontend web development experience with TypeScript and React
- Strong CSS expertise
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Knowledge of GraphQL
- Comfort incorporating AI-assisted development tools into your workflow with strong engineering judgment
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and acknowledge areas for growth
- Thoughtful problem-solving approach with curiosity and open-mindedness
- Excellence in designing coherent, user-centric interfaces that handle complex information
- Experience with relational and document-based databases (MongoDB, Postgres) is a plus
- Strong communication skills in distributed work environments
