Radiologist – Chest CT Annotation – AI Project (UK)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking experienced radiologists to support a specialized chest CT annotation project. This is a remote, contract-based opportunity for clinicians with thoracic imaging expertise who want to contribute to the development of medical AI systems while maintaining flexible working arrangements.

You will perform structured anatomical markup on de-identified chest CT scans using a dedicated annotation platform. This is not a diagnostic reading role—you will apply detailed guidelines to mark spatial coordinates, bounding boxes, and measurements on findings that have already been identified, ensuring consistency and precision across a large dataset.

Responsibilities

• Place click-point markers at specific anatomical coordinates, such as nodule centers
• Draw bounding boxes around flagged regions of interest and lesions
• Record measurements including diameters and distances between marked points on existing segmentations
• Apply annotation guidelines consistently across high volumes of CT studies, following defined placement conventions and boundary rules
• Flag ambiguous or edge cases with brief written rationales to support guideline refinement
• Maintain spatial accuracy and consistency throughout all markup tasks

What We're Looking For

• Active registration as a radiologist in the United Kingdom with current license
• 3–10 years of clinical radiology experience with a chest or thoracic focus
• Strong foundation in thoracic anatomy and cross-sectional CT imaging
• Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in image review or measurement work
• Comfort working with structured digital annotation tools and platforms
• Native or near-native written English proficiency
• Right to work in the United Kingdom as an independent contractor
• Prior medical imaging annotation experience is advantageous but not required
