Senior Product Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a Senior Product Designer to join their consumer banking team in London. Our client is scaling a mobile-first financial product across Europe, and this role will be central to defining user experiences that drive activation, engagement, and retention for millions of users.

This is a high-craft, high-autonomy position where design leads problem definition and product strategy. You'll own end-to-end design across the full user lifecycle, working on features like onboarding, financial insights, and budget tracking tools.

Note: This role does not support Visa sponsorship. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design from discovery through delivery for a mobile consumer banking experience
• Lead discovery efforts by identifying user problems, framing opportunities, and developing hypotheses with Product and Engineering teams
• Design intuitive, high-quality mobile experiences in Figma that impact key performance metrics including activation, engagement, and retention
• Validate solutions through prototyping, user research, and usability testing, using qualitative and quantitative data to inform iterations
• Contribute to the design system and maintain consistency and quality as the product scales

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer on mobile-first consumer products, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX design and measurable business impact
• Strong discovery skills including problem framing, hypothesis definition, user research, and insight synthesis
• Excellent UX, interaction, and information design capabilities with a high bar for quality and usability
• Ability to work autonomously within cross-functional teams alongside Product Managers and Engineers, with solid understanding of technical constraints
• Experience leveraging AI design tools for ideation, prototyping, and research synthesis to accelerate workflows
• Proficiency in Figma and experience contributing to or evolving design systems
• Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
