Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential non-profit organization seeking an intern to support development cooperation and grant acquisition initiatives. In this role, you will:

• Contribute to strategic alliance development and bring fresh ideas to programmatic work
• Prepare reporting and controlling materials to track project progress and impact
• Support project leadership in planning, steering, and implementing ongoing initiatives
• Collaborate with international partners and maintain regular communication
• Assist in creating and refining project templates and documentation
• Participate in the design and evolution of development projects
• Conduct comprehensive research on development cooperation topics
• Research potential funding sources, maintain grant databases, and keep information current
• Support strategic planning and preparation of grant applications
• Translate innovative concepts into compelling, audience-appropriate texts
• Assist with organizing external events and support preparation and implementation

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a relevant field such as development cooperation, social work, or economics
• Structured, reliable, and responsible work style with ability to manage multiple tasks
• Open and communicative personality comfortable working with diverse stakeholders
• Strong MS Office skills
• Fluent German and English language proficiency
• Team spirit and enthusiasm for non-profit mission-driven work
• Interest in grant research, funding, and strategic project work
• Motivation, initiative, and collaborative mindset
• Prior experience in project coordination and intercultural settings are advantageous but not required
