About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential energy infrastructure organization seeking a Key Account Manager to shape the future of Germany's power grid modernization. This fully remote role offers you the chance to build strategic partnerships with transmission operators, utilities, and industrial customers across Germany while working from your home office.
Our client develops system solutions for modern energy infrastructure, serving the high-voltage direct current transmission and electrification sectors. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding their market presence in cable protection systems and energy network projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop key accounts among network operators and energy utility companies
- Expand business relationships within energy infrastructure, industrial, and specialized trade networks
- Acquire new business partners and open additional market segments
- Independently develop account strategies and sales approaches for cable protection systems
- Identify and evaluate network and transmission infrastructure projects for business opportunities
- Support tender processes from initial costing through technical solution design
- Lead price negotiations and contract discussions, taking ownership of revenue development
- Conduct market analysis, identify market potential, and contribute to product development initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams and fellow key account managers in related segments
- Manage sales activities through CRM systems and represent the organization at industry trade shows
What We're Looking For
- Technical or business degree, or equivalent professional qualification
- Several years of experience in technical B2B sales or key account management
- Knowledge of cable protection systems, energy infrastructure, utility networks, or civil engineering
- Strong sales personality with customer focus and entrepreneurial mindset
- Confident presence, structured work approach, and enthusiasm for independent market development
- Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems, as well as standard office applications
- Excellent German and good English language skills
- Willingness to travel throughout Germany as needed
