Network & Infrastructure Engineer (gn)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential international organization with modern locations and a high-performance IT landscape. In this key role, you will:

• Own the operation and evolution of the network infrastructure across German sites
• Administer firewalls, VPN connections, switching, routing, and VLAN environments
• Analyze and resolve complex network and infrastructure incidents at 2nd- and 3rd-level support
• Ensure availability, performance, and security of the network landscape
• Manage core infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, and certificate management
• Plan and execute infrastructure and network projects such as site connectivity, migrations, and system rollouts
• Collaborate with external service providers and ensure adherence to defined standards and SLAs
• Document the environment and continuously improve operational processes

What We're Looking For

• Completed IT-focused education or training
• Multiple years of IT experience (preferably 5+ years) operating IT infrastructures with a network focus
• Very good German and good English language skills
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, and firewall technologies
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis of complex issues
• Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, and foundational Windows Server and Active Directory structures
• Experience with hybrid IT infrastructures and virtualized environments (ideally VMware)
• Knowledge of modern IT security concepts
• Structured, solution-oriented work style combined with proactivity and team spirit
