About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Payment Performance Analyst Intern to join their Paris office. This is a 6-month internship starting in January 2027, offering hands-on experience in payment analytics, process automation, and performance monitoring within a fast-paced global marketplace environment.
You'll conduct ad hoc analysis on payment performance and risks, support the team with rigorous data analysis for strategic projects, and help automate internal payment processes. This role provides excellent exposure to payment optimization, alternative payment methods, and KYB (Know Your Business) operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ad hoc analysis on payment performance and build dashboards for key performance metrics
- Develop processes to automate seller payment operations, including debt monitoring, KYB procedures, and risk assessment
- Support the implementation of new payment products and services, working alongside technical teams on card payment optimization and alternative payment methods
- Monitor and report payment and KYB metrics including performance, adoption rates, and costs
- Benchmark best practices for local payment methods and consumer buying habits across current and future markets
What We're Looking For
- Currently seeking a 6-month internship from January 2027 through June 2027
- Fully professional English capability required; additional languages are a plus
- Previous experience in e-commerce; familiarity with the payments ecosystem is ideal
- Strong analytical skills with excellent command of SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Adaptable mindset with enthusiasm for tackling varied tasks and embracing new challenges
- Must have an internship agreement from a French school
- Full-time availability (35 hours/week) for Paris-based position
