Regional Sales Engineer (Remote, CHE)

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization seeking a Regional Sales Engineer based remotely in Switzerland. Our client is a recognized leader in protecting enterprises from advanced threats through cutting-edge platform technology. This role offers the opportunity to work with organizations across industries, demonstrating how next-generation security solutions can fundamentally change their defensive posture.

As a Sales Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge between our client's platform and prospective customers, articulating complex security challenges and solutions to audiences ranging from technical practitioners to C-level executives. You'll work in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple engagements across the region.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to prospects and customers across Switzerland and the region
• Articulate how current security architectures are designed, deployed, and where they fall short
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering teams to drive customer success
• Conduct technical evaluations and proof-of-concept engagements
• Present to diverse audiences including security operations teams, IT leadership, and executive stakeholders
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle
• Stay current on threat landscape, security technologies, and industry trends
• Leverage AI technologies to enhance workflows, decision-making, and business outcomes
• Travel as required to customer sites and industry events

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
• Sales engineering background or 5+ years of relevant work experience in enterprise security
• Deep expertise in endpoint or network security domains: antivirus, endpoint detection and response, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, or related technologies
• Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
• Proven ability to explain complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to C-level executives
• Strong self-starter capable of working independently
• Extensive network of contacts in the information security field
• Fluency in both English and German
• Demonstrated experience using AI technologies to improve efficiency and drive results
• Willingness to travel as needed

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience with malware analysis, threat intelligence, or sandbox technologies
• Programming or scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Familiarity with virtualization and VDI technologies
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and the OSI model
• Security certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or SANS certifications
