Area HR Business Partner (HRBP) – Ontario

Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Area HR Business Partner to support our retail operations across Ontario. In this strategic role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to store leadership, fostering a positive culture that reflects Uniqlo's commitment to respecting individuality and creating an inclusive workplace. You'll partner with operations teams to develop talent, improve employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment standards across all locations in your area.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support store managers and area leadership with recruitment, onboarding, and talent development initiatives
• Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations matters, and performance management
• Develop and implement HR programs that strengthen team engagement and retention
• Ensure compliance with Ontario employment law and Fast Retailing Group standards
• Partner with regional teams to identify workforce trends and recommend strategic solutions
• Foster a workplace culture that celebrates diversity and supports employee growth

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in retail or multi-location environments
• Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management
• Ability to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR support
• Passion for creating positive workplace cultures
