Account Executive – Financial Services

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global language services organization seeking an Account Executive to focus on the Financial Services sector in London. Our client is an industry leader with a worldwide presence, delivering translation and localization solutions to major corporations across diverse industries.

This is a direct sales role requiring full ownership of the business development cycle—from lead generation through to close and ongoing account management. You will leverage your knowledge of financial services or the localization industry to build new client relationships while providing first-level support to existing B2B accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business relationships through cold calling, digital outreach, and trade show participation
• Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities in coordination with sales leadership
• Build a thorough understanding of service capabilities, benefits, and competitive positioning
• Educate and promote solutions to prospective and existing clients in the financial services sector
• Manage client expectations and provide ongoing support in partnership with production teams
• Control pricing and contractual matters through understanding of company procedures
• Learn each client's industry, business needs, and culture to identify opportunities and deliver exceptional service
• Project revenues, monitor budgets, and perform analytical calculations as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
• Interest in or previous experience with strategic business development and/or account management
• Superior written and spoken communication skills in English
• Strong relationship-building capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to commute to the London office five days per week
• Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments and work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Strong problem-solving mindset and commitment to service excellence
• Previous account management experience is beneficial
