AI Security (Senior) Consultant (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential cybersecurity consultancy seeking AI Security Consultants at both mid-level and senior levels. This München-based role offers the chance to work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and information security, advising clients on the strategic and practical challenges of deploying AI securely and leveraging AI to strengthen cyber defenses.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, organizational structures, and technical systems to identify optimization opportunities through AI adoption
• Advise clients on secure introduction and operation of AI solutions, helping them understand opportunities and risks
• Develop tailored AI strategies for business units to enhance cybersecurity effectiveness and efficiency
• Support or lead AI security projects from analysis through implementation, serving as the interface between business, IT, and security teams
• Design and facilitate workshops, assessments, and training sessions on AI security topics including risk assessment and secure use of generative AI
• Create management reporting materials and decision-making documents for executives and committees
• Develop practical concepts and guidelines for securing AI applications
• Coordinate project stakeholders and ensure transparency on progress, risks, and decisions
• Monitor market and technology trends in AI security and translate insights into consulting approaches

What We're Looking For

Core Requirements (All Levels):

• Master's degree in business administration, informatics, business informatics, technical, scientific, mathematical, or related discipline
• 1–2 years professional experience for Consultant level; 2–5 years for Senior Consultant level
• Strong interest in secure AI development, secure use of AI applications, or using AI to improve cybersecurity
• Structured and pragmatic working style with ability to quickly learn new topics
• Team-oriented, motivated, performance-driven, flexible, and communicative personality
• Comfort with technical concepts and ability to bridge development and management perspectives
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Outlook
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Very good German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both)

Additional Senior Level Requirements:

• Confident expertise in secure AI development, secure AI application use, or AI-enabled cybersecurity improvement
• Solid knowledge of modern project management methodologies
• Understanding of business processes in IT and cybersecurity with ability to design, implement, analyze, and optimize them
• Creative thinker with strong initiative and passion for driving innovation and building long-term client relationships
• Analytical and visionary thinking combined with excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts and confidently advise clients at all levels
• Strong facilitation skills and confidence in client-facing interactions
