Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity consulting organization in München that needs a talented Cybersecurity Manager to lead critical initiatives. In this role, you will:

  • Assume overall responsibility for cybersecurity projects, key topics, and organizational development initiatives
  • Lead consulting, design, and implementation of cybersecurity solutions with strategic oversight
  • Ensure project milestones and objectives are achieved on schedule
  • Manage stakeholder communication and lead status meetings across internal and external teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, project leads, and team members
  • Assess client cybersecurity posture and advise on improvements while contributing to new service development
  • Analyze complex processes and systems, particularly in Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Design solution concepts and IT security architectures
  • Actively participate in new client acquisition efforts
  • Conduct IT vulnerability assessments and risk evaluations of information security incidents
  • Lead and support cybersecurity transformation initiatives
  • Develop internal security methodologies and standards
  • Drive internal development initiatives to expand organizational capabilities

What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • 5–8 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, including implementation of Zero Trust concepts and technologies
  • Experience with Identity & Access Management, Azure AD, Zero Trust, and/or security architecture design strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and management experience
  • Strong understanding of business processes in cybersecurity contexts
  • In-depth knowledge of networking and comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity architectures and principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication abilities with talent for explaining complex technical concepts clearly
  • Enthusiasm for digital topics, strategies, and processes
  • Team player who is highly motivated, adaptable, and proactive
  • Comfort with interdisciplinary collaboration and taking responsibility
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Solid project management expertise
  • Excellent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages required)
