Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a well-funded open source security platform in a confidential search for a Design Engineer focused on brand and creative execution. This remote-friendly role sits at the intersection of design, engineering, and marketing—ideal for someone who wants to shape how a rapidly growing developer tool is discovered and experienced worldwide.

You'll partner directly with leadership and cross-functional teams to define visual identity, build marketing surfaces, maintain the company website, and ship creative projects that range from conference materials to interactive demos.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the brand's visual language and creative direction across all customer touchpoints
• Design brand and marketing assets including blog graphics, merchandise, presentations, conference materials, and launch campaigns
• Build and maintain the company website with pixel-perfect execution, reusable components, CMS integrations, SEO optimization, and analytics tooling
• Prototype and ship ambitious creative and engineering projects such as interactive experiences, AI-powered tools, and internal platforms
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Developer Experience teams to deliver cohesive brand experiences

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating both design craft and technical execution on polished digital experiences
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and modern frameworks like Next.js
• Exceptional visual taste and creative judgment with the ability to translate abstract concepts into cohesive, beautiful experiences
• Bias toward action—comfortable making decisions, iterating quickly, and taking calculated risks
• Meticulous attention to detail and genuine eagerness to learn
• Location: Brazil, Canada, or United States (San Francisco Bay Area strongly preferred)

Nice to Have:

• Technical SEO fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as Contentful or Sanity
• Experience configuring website analytics and marketing platform integrations (Google Analytics, HubSpot, similar)
• Background with developer-facing products or early-stage startups
