AI Strategist

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential AI consulting organization seeking an AI Strategist to lead client accounts in London. In this role, you will define the AI strategy for enterprise clients and transform ambiguous opportunities into concrete, executable commitments.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Developing the AI strategic direction and thesis for each client account
• Identifying high-leverage transformation opportunities within complex enterprise environments
• Defining project scope, success criteria, and deliverable commitments
• Leading executive alignment and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
• Shaping commercial strategy and managing risk boundaries
• Partnering with deployment and engineering teams to ensure strategic commitments align with operational reality
• Driving decision-making in politically complex, evolving technical environments
• Identifying account expansion opportunities and guiding long-term client relationships
• Translating complex technical initiatives into executive-level frameworks that enable action

You will operate as part of a two-person leadership team running client accounts end-to-end, with direct accountability and no intermediary management layers.

• Proven ability to identify transformation opportunities inside complex organizational structures
• Commercial and strategic judgment in high-stakes environments
• Systems thinking across organizational structure, workflows, and engineering operations
• Executive presence and communication skills for both technical and business audiences
• Comfort operating in ambiguous situations with incomplete information and competing incentives
• Ability to challenge assumptions, drive clarity, and make explicit commitments under uncertainty
• High ownership, autonomy, and accountability
• Strong collaboration instincts with deployment and engineering counterparts
• Experience framing technical initiatives in ways that enable executive decision-making
