About This Role
We are representing a confidential AI technology client in Berlin that is building operational automation solutions for enterprise environments. Our talent team is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their growing product organization and ensure platform quality across complex workflows.
This is an opportunity to work on a sophisticated system that handles multi-stakeholder processes, integrations, and compliance requirements. You'll be testing real-world enterprise scenarios and catching issues before they reach production environments.
Responsibilities
- Test the platform from a real user's perspective, running through both typical flows and edge cases
- Track down bugs, crashes, display issues, and illogical behavior, documenting them clearly with steps to reproduce
- Evaluate whether features work as intended and flag anything confusing, clunky, or inconsistent from a usability standpoint
- Check different devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure cross-platform compatibility
- Rank bugs by severity (critical vs. cosmetic) and prioritize them so the engineering team knows what to fix first
- Retest fixed bugs and confirm that fixes didn't introduce new issues through regression testing
- Work closely with engineering and product teams, answer questions, and help reproduce issues
What We're Looking For
- A sharp, thorough eye for detail and the patience to get to the bottom of issues
- A structured, clear approach to documenting bugs so anyone can follow them
- The ability to think like a user and use software "the wrong way" on purpose to find its limits
- Clear, easy-to-understand communication skills, both written and spoken
- First experience with software testing, QA tools, or ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Linear) is a plus but not required
- Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin
