Manager Architect Cloud – Paris

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data consulting firm seeking a Manager Architect Cloud to join their Paris team. In this role, you will:

• Lead workshops with business stakeholders to analyze and understand client needs, ensuring proper problem formulation and capturing true requirements
• Immerse yourself in client culture and ecosystems to master their context and ensure appropriate technical framing
• Design target solutions and architectures, estimating feasibility and implementation risks for each project
• Collaborate with client technical leadership to identify the most relevant solutions for their organization
• Master data flows implemented in solutions, including transformation, storage, and distribution in Cloud environments (GCP and Azure)
• Balance pragmatism with vision, creating realistic solutions that meet future needs while demonstrating scalability and reliability
• Guide development teams and data scientists to facilitate production and deployment of solutions
• Work with business teams to iterate on solutions using agile methodologies, continuously refining your understanding of needs
• Collaborate with client teams to facilitate solution ownership and ensure long-term sustainability

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with the following profile:

• Engineering or computer science degree with excellent knowledge of modern technical architecture components
• Minimum 5 years of experience with demonstrated ability to take a strategic view of technical subjects
• Expertise in one or more areas: Data Architectures, Cloud, IT Architecture, IoT, DevOps
• At least one consulting experience required
• Fluency in English and proven success in similar environments (consulting, professional services)
• Strong investigation skills to gather all necessary information for building optimal client solutions
• Curious mindset with continuous awareness of emerging technologies for future data architectures
• Business-oriented approach with ability to interact effectively with clients and technical stakeholders
• Collaborative nature, contributing to team skill development around technologies

Preferred qualifications:

• Specialized knowledge of cloud technologies from Google (GCP), Microsoft (Azure), or Amazon (AWS)
• Software development experience
• Familiarity with modern data stack: Python, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Docker
