Consultant Finance and Digitalization (w/m/d) – Fintech SaaS Scale-Up

Responsibilities

We are representing a fast-growing fintech SaaS organization expanding into the German market. As a Finance and Digitalization Consultant, you will serve as the primary advocate for clients using a cloud-based financial management platform.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Leading comprehensive onboarding for new clients—both businesses and tax advisory firms—ensuring they quickly realize maximum value from the platform
• Serving as the main point of contact for existing clients, building trusted relationships while identifying expansion opportunities and ensuring optimal platform utilization
• Conducting proactive health checks and regular reviews to maximize client satisfaction, retention, and prevent churn
• Collaborating closely with the German sales team and management to optimize processes, provide product feedback, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives
• Developing deep expertise in the German finance and accounting landscape and sharing this knowledge with clients
• Occasional travel within Germany (approximately once monthly) and to international headquarters for onboarding

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Experience: 2-5 years in accounting, account management, or similar client-facing roles, ideally within tax advisory environments or alternatively in SaaS/fintech sectors
• Qualifications: Completed training as a tax specialist (Steuerfachangestellter), tax consultant (Steuerfachwirt/Steuerberater), or degree in finance
• Industry knowledge: Deep understanding of business and tax advisor needs regarding finance, invoicing, and accounting processes
• Communication skills: Strong ability to explain complex topics simply, with empathy and clarity
• Hands-on mentality: Proactive, solution-oriented approach with readiness to build processes from the ground up as part of an early-stage team
• Languages: Native or near-native German (C2 level) and fluent English for international team collaboration
• Adaptability: Enthusiasm for constantly evolving work environments and high collaboration readiness across teams

This role offers remote work from anywhere in Germany, with flexibility to work occasionally from other European locations (maximum two-hour time difference from Central European Time). Pay
