HR Business Partner International (gn)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential industrial manufacturing client with a global presence and several thousand employees across multiple international locations. Our talent team has been exclusively retained to identify an experienced HR Business Partner – International to support their sales and service organizations across Western markets, based in Munich.

This is a true strategic partner role within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. You'll work directly with senior leaders across international sites, bringing pragmatic HR solutions to a fast-paced, results-driven industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into effective HR interventions and advise leadership on performance management, succession planning, and talent development
• Actively support change and transformation initiatives while fostering an inclusive, values-driven organizational culture
• Analyze and monitor HR-relevant KPIs, providing escalation management where needed
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local leadership through regular on-site presence at international locations (approximately 30% travel)
• Proactively address leadership gaps through direct dialogue and guide managers toward structured, documented processes
• Serve as liaison to HR partners within international subsidiaries to ensure seamless collaboration
• Coordinate regularly with external legal counsel in international markets and manage implementation with local stakeholders
• Support the full recruiting cycle within your area of responsibility

What We're Looking For

• Completed university degree in Business Administration or comparable field
• Ideally 8+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within industrial or production-related environments in Germany and internationally
• Proven ability to advise senior leaders confidently and independently, even in direct and demanding leadership cultures
• Experience supporting sales organizations is advantageous
• Strategic and analytical thinking combined with strong people orientation, conflict sensitivity, and consulting competence
• Pragmatic, assertive approach with the ability to balance global standards with local requirements
• International and intercultural competence with willingness to travel approximately 30%
• Excellent business English; German fluency required
