Senior Product Manager – Software Solutions

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential IoT technology company in a search for a Senior Product Manager - Software Solutions based in Munich. This is a high-impact, commercially focused role where you will function as the business owner for a software and services portfolio. You will drive strategy, P&L accountability, ARR growth, and long-term value creation. This is not a maintenance role—you will be building and scaling a business unit within an established organization.

The position reports directly to the Chief Product Officer and requires both technical fluency and commercial rigor. You will work across product, engineering, sales, customer success, and leadership to deliver scalable cloud-based solutions that create measurable customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L for the software product line, including ARR growth, attach rate, net revenue retention, and customer adoption metrics
• Define long-term strategy and positioning for the software business, balancing innovation with commercial impact
• Lead go-to-market strategy in collaboration with sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams
• Develop pricing, packaging, and monetization models that drive repeatable growth engines
• Act as executive sponsor for strategic customer deployments and ensure measurable ROI realization
• Establish operating rhythms, business reviews, and performance management disciplines across cross-functional teams
• Make investment and resource allocation decisions that maximize long-term value
• Drive adoption, retention, and expansion through relentless focus on customer outcomes
• Align product, engineering, sales, and marketing around shared business objectives

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5–8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in software, cloud, SaaS, or IoT environments
• Proven track record delivering cloud-based or SaaS products
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ability to translate customer needs into scalable product solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence senior leadership
• Professional fluency in English
• Commercially obsessed and outcome-driven mindset—you think in terms of value and usage, not features
• Comfort working in dynamic, evolving environments and balancing short-term performance with long-term goals

Nice to Have:

• Experience in industrial technology, IoT, hardware, or embedded systems
• Background establishing or changing SaaS business models
• Experience with IoT platforms
• Enterprise or B2B software background
• Familiarity with microservices and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with product-led growth and monetization strategies
