About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential client in the enterprise software consulting space who needs an experienced SAP consultant specializing in Document Reporting & Compliance (DRC) and Polish KSeF processes. This is a remote contract role starting October 2026, working at 100% capacity to resolve critical challenges in electronic invoicing and tax compliance for Poland.

You'll be evaluating technical and functional solutions around SAP billing processes, specifically addressing VF11 cancellation procedures post-KSeF submission, debit note mapping conflicts, and VAT reporting optimization for the Polish JPK_V7M framework.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the functional and technical justification for approving VF11 cancellation after successful KSeF submission, assessing compliance risks, audit security, SAP supportability, maintenance effort, and future S/4HANA migration impacts
• Analyze existing alternative solutions and provide a functionally and technically justified recommendation for the path forward
• Develop solution proposals for debit note mapping conflicts, differentiating between debit notes and original invoices using document types, order reasons, number ranges, or other technical/functional characteristics while meeting Polish legal requirements
• Create solution approaches for invoice reference handling in VAT reporting (JPK_V7M) to eliminate manual correction efforts for currency and regulatory adjustments
• Produce rough effort estimates, architecture outlines, solution designs, and timeframe projections for recommended options
• Provide support during potential implementation of the recommended solution

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Skills:

• Several years of hands-on experience with SAP Document Reporting & Compliance (DRC) or SAP eDocument framework
• Direct project experience implementing or supporting KSeF in Poland
• Deep knowledge of Polish e-invoicing regulations and VAT requirements
• Experience with Poland localization and KSeF processes
• Strong background in SAP SD/FI integration
• Expertise in SAP SD billing processes, particularly VF11 functionality
• Solid understanding of SAP FI and Tax Reporting
• Fluent English (required)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with S/4HANA transformations and migration considerations
• German language proficiency
