Senior Account Executive – Consumer Tech

Responsibilities

We are representing a global communications consultancy seeking a Senior Account Executive for their London team. In this role, you will work with leading consumer technology brands—managing campaigns for smartphones, fitness tech, gaming, and smart home products.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Media relations: Own relationships with consumer technology, lifestyle, and national press. Build on your existing contacts and establish new ones across the UK media landscape.
• Writing: Draft press releases, media pitches, and compelling content that resonates with journalists and clients alike.
• Client communications: Serve as the main point of contact on specific projects, join weekly calls, and proactively update clients on campaign progress.
• Proactivity: Spot media opportunities, cultural trends, and creative solutions that can benefit your accounts.
• Account organization: Keep projects on track, update stakeholders promptly, and support your team leads with timely information.
• Media engagement: Stay current with the UK media landscape—follow relevant journalists, read industry publications, and share insights with your team.
• Team collaboration: Contribute actively to client teams and broader agency initiatives, demonstrating effective time management and professionalism.

What We're Looking For

• Two or more years of PR experience in consumer lifestyle or consumer technology sectors
• A strong interest in the UK consumer technology landscape and media environment
• Proven ability to execute media sell-ins and manage multiple clients simultaneously
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Solid writing skills with experience drafting press materials
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence building client relationships
• Energy and passion for PR and communications
• High levels of intelligence, initiative, and integrity with an ambition to create award-winning work
