About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading cybersecurity organization in their search for a Senior Localization Engineer, Applied AI. This is a remote role offering the chance to lead the technical evolution of a mature global content delivery platform, with a clear mandate: architect and implement AI-led localization workflows that accelerate multilingual releases across product interfaces, documentation, and marketing content.

Reporting to senior globalization leadership, you will serve as the primary technical authority while driving measurable productivity gains through LLM integration, intelligent automation, and scalable pipeline design. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of enterprise localization infrastructure at the intersection of AI and internationalization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution from traditional automated localization to AI-led workflows, initially focusing on product UI and gradually extending across the full content stack including documentation and marketing materials
• Design and implement LLM-powered translation pipelines that enable simultaneous multi-language releases, integrating with existing repos, CMS platforms, and databases
• Architect event-driven, API-first localization infrastructure triggered by code commits, content changes, and release events
• Define technical standards, system hygiene protocols, and engineering documentation to support team scalability during the transformation
• Build AI-powered reporting and analytics capabilities that complement existing operational visibility
• Own hands-on delivery of critical initiatives while effectively directing contracted and distributed engineering partners on complementary work
• Bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders including linguists, project managers, developers, and architects across multiple geographies

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs (ideally Claude/Anthropic or similar) into production-grade engineering workflows, including agentic steps and programmatic model improvement
• Proven ability to design event-driven, API-first translation infrastructure including CMS-driven and proxy-based localization solutions
• Strong internationalization and localization engineering knowledge: string externalization, relevant frameworks, localization file formats, and encoding conventions
• Deep understanding of Translation Management System principles including Translation Memory, Machine Translation, and next-generation integration frameworks
• Solid grasp of CI/CD and DevOps frameworks and principles
• Strong scripting ability in JavaScript, Python, and Regex
• Track record designing solutions that scale across content types and delivery channels
• Excellent documentation discipline with commitment to knowledge transfer
• Demonstrated success collaborating with distributed teams across multiple time zones
