About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential software company in Berlin that is seeking a Technical Customer Support / IT Support professional. Our client operates web-based project management solutions serving over 800 customers across Europe. This is a full-time position based at their Berlin headquarters, and our talent team particularly encourages applications from women and diverse candidates.
Responsibilities
- Handle technical customer inquiries through the ticketing system
- Provide 2nd level support for escalated issues
- Communicate with customers via phone, conference software, and ticketing systems
- Assess feasibility of customer requests and requirements
- Act as liaison between customers, consultants, and development teams
- Write XML files for system configurations
- Perform remote installations and software updates
- Create reports using BIRT when required
- Support hosting instances as needed
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Strong educational background in computer science or related degree
- Solid technical knowledge in Windows or Linux environments
- Proficiency with XML
- Broad knowledge of and interest in IT topics
- Calm, professional demeanor when interacting with customers
- Self-motivated with strong initiative
- Excellent German language skills (C1 level or higher)
Preferred:
- Good English language skills
- Experience with SQL or BIRT reporting
