About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential professional services firm in Deggendorf seeking a qualified Steuerberater (Tax Advisor) to join their advisory practice. Our client is an established organization serving a diverse client base with sophisticated tax planning and structuring needs.

This role offers flexibility including remote work options and the opportunity to work on complex international tax matters, M&A transactions, and succession planning engagements.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive tax advisory services to clients on contract structuring, business succession planning, and international tax matters
• Support national and international clients with M&A transactions and Private Equity investments
• Handle corporate tax compliance and transfer pricing matters for multinational clients
• Conduct pre-acquisition measures related to M&A and succession planning, including tax due diligence reviews
• Perform business valuations and prepare expert opinions for tax audits and legal proceedings
• Advise on gift and inheritance tax matters as well as voluntary disclosures
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams while managing projects independently

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Steuerberater certification or comparable international qualification
• Academic background in business administration, economics, or MINT fields (Bachelor or Master degree)
• Prior experience in tax advisory is advantageous but not required
• Strong English language skills for international client work
• Affinity for numbers and technology with quick comprehension abilities
• Motivated, engaged professional with curiosity beyond standard tasks
• Balance of team collaboration skills and independent work style
• Enthusiasm for challenging projects and shared goals
