Sr Technical Product Marketing Manager, AI Traffic Management & Registry

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential API platform company in a senior technical product marketing role focused on AI infrastructure and traffic management. This position sits at the intersection of AI adoption, enterprise security, and developer experience—owning the technical narrative for how organizations govern, secure, and scale AI traffic in production environments.

As Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager, you'll drive positioning and evangelism for AI gateway capabilities, guardrails, and registry systems that help enterprises manage LLM, agent, and Model Context Protocol traffic. This is a highly technical, externally-facing role requiring hands-on credibility with AI platform engineers and the ability to translate complex infrastructure concepts into compelling stories for both practitioners and executive buyers.

Responsibilities

• Own positioning and messaging for AI traffic management capabilities including LLM routing, policy enforcement, content safety, and multi-agent governance
• Build and evolve the technical narrative for AI, MCP, and agent registries—covering discovery, registration, governance, and developer experience
• Lead technical enablement for solution engineers, customer success managers, and field teams within your domain
• Serve as technical evangelist at industry events, analyst briefings, webinars, and customer conversations
• Produce deep technical content including demos, reference architectures, technical whitepapers, and documentation-adjacent materials
• Partner with product management to shape how new capabilities are framed, named, and sequenced for market impact
• Deliver technical positioning, proof points, and demo assets as inputs to product launches and campaigns
• Mentor and raise the bar for technical storytelling across the broader product marketing team

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or solutions engineering—ideally at an AI/ML platform company
• Genuine hands-on interest in AI infrastructure: you follow developments in LLM deployment, agentic frameworks, Model Context Protocol, and AI governance
• Ability to speak credibly to AI platform engineers and translate complex technical concepts into crisp narratives for C-suite buyers
• Proven track record translating technical depth into positioning that resonates with both practitioners and executives
• Highly collaborative working style across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams
• Comfort owning a stage: keynote presentations, analyst briefings, customer roundtables, and demo-heavy sessions energize you
• Experience in open-source software, SaaS platforms, and enterprise go-to-market motions strongly preferred
• Familiarity with the AI connectivity landscape—including awareness of competing and complementary vendors across API gateways, AI observability, vector databases, and agentic orchestration frameworks—is a strong plus
