Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking an Account Executive to drive new revenue growth from mid-market organizations (300–2,000 employees) in Sydney. In this role, you will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through pitching and closing—while building strong, consultative relationships with customers.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities by aligning with market trends and executing go-to-market strategies alongside the broader sales team
  • Driving customer satisfaction across pre- and post-sales stages, building relationships at all levels including decision makers, influencers, and procurement teams
  • Serving as a trusted advocate for your customers, acting as their liaison and ensuring prompt responses to queries within 24 hours
  • Managing account details, opportunities, and pipeline in the CRM system with accurate forecasting and real-time visibility for management
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of assigned accounts, including their business profile, key contacts, competitive landscape, and technology footprint
  • Positioning solutions effectively against competitors and driving value-based sales strategies
  • Leading and collaborating with internal virtual account teams and channel partner representatives to execute territory plans and maximize account penetration
  • Supporting events, promotions, and actively mentoring peers to contribute to the organization's growth objectives and team success

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking a proven Account Executive with strong business development instincts and a track record of success in SaaS/cloud software sales. You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • Strong Account Executive experience and skills with a proven ability to close deals
  • Business development experience (preferred)
  • General familiarity with selling methodologies and processes
  • 2+ years of SaaS/Cloud software sales experience
  • Experience selling within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Experience selling with or through channel partners (SIs, VARs, MSPs, etc.)
  • Executive-level relationship selling experience
  • Accountability and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to interpret data and manage pipeline effectively

This is a hybrid position in Sydney (3 days a week in-office) for a full-time Account Executive role.
