About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential fintech client in their search for a Sales Development Representative based in Canada. This is an exceptional opportunity to launch or accelerate your career in B2B technology sales, working with senior finance executives across North America.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for potential customers, qualifying inbound leads and evaluating their readiness to engage with solutions
- Proactively prospect new accounts through phone, email, and social media outreach to generate interest and schedule discovery calls for account executives
- Research target accounts, contacts, and key players to effectively nurture leads and overcome objections
- Document all activity and maintain accurate data in Salesforce Lightning CRM and marketing automation platforms
- Collaborate with marketing on lead generation programs, from planning through post-event follow-up and tracking
- Multi-thread across accounts, engaging multiple stakeholders simultaneously and mapping buying committees
- Partner with account executives on territory and account planning
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or equivalent sales role
- Proven track record of generating outbound pipeline from scratch through cold calls, emails, and creative prospecting
- Consistent achievement of 90%+ quota attainment on outbound-specific metrics (meetings booked, pipeline generated)
- Strong ability to engage multiple stakeholders across organizations, from C-level executives to department heads
- Natural curiosity and confidence with sharp questioning skills and active listening abilities
- Business acumen to understand unique prospect challenges and connect them to solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that cut through noise
- Bias toward action and comfort in fast-moving, evolving environments
- Collaborative mindset and coachability
- Proficiency with sales tools like Gong, Salesforce, or Sales Navigator
- Bonus: Experience selling into the office of the CFO or understanding of financial operations buying cycles
