About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clinical research organization seeking a Site Payment Lead to join their team remotely in Argentina. This is a pivotal role coordinating financial operations across clinical trials, ensuring investigator sites receive timely and accurate payments while maintaining compliance with contractual terms.

As the Site Payment Lead, you will serve as the primary point of contact for site payment inquiries, working independently to manage payment setup, modifications, and processing across assigned studies. You'll collaborate with project teams, contracts departments, and clinical operations to ensure seamless payment workflows from study start-up through completion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the accountable lead for site payment services across assigned clinical studies
• Coordinate payment setup and modifications within investigator payment systems aligned to budget templates
• Participate in study start-up meetings and payment strategy sessions to document funding requirements
• Authorize study setups accurately before initiating payment processing
• Resolve escalated payment issues and discrepancies to ensure accurate, timely site payments
• Monitor compliance with investigator payment timelines per contractual terms
• Prepare and deliver payment status reports to project teams and stakeholders
• Lead and follow up on audits and inspections related to site payments
• Analyze and present payment data to various stakeholders
• Train team members within site payment services
• Identify and implement process efficiencies and improvements
• Conduct root cause analysis for payment issues and process development

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience within clinical research organizations, business operations, finance, accounting, or comparable fields
• Direct experience supporting clinical site payments (required)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Advanced to excellent English proficiency for non-native speakers
• Expert-level MS Excel skills for spreadsheet analysis and data manipulation
• Strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word
• Thorough understanding of clinical trial budgeting tools and payment processes
• Knowledge of clinical research organization operations and how site payments function within the ecosystem
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to make decisions and provide guidance in ambiguous situations
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with enthusiasm and organization
• Strong customer focus with professional interaction skills
• Comfort working in decentralized, matrix environments as a collaborative team player
