About This Opportunity
We are representing a rapidly growing sports betting and gaming platform operating in the United Kingdom. Our client is seeking a commercially minded Senior Data Analyst to drive smarter decision-making through sharp analysis, stakeholder partnership, and high-quality business intelligence.
This is a broad analytics role for someone who excels at turning ambiguous business questions into clear, actionable insights. You'll build impactful self-serve dashboards, work across Product, Growth, Casino, Sportsbook, Commercial and Trading teams, and help shape how analytics supports decisions as the organization scales into new markets.
Responsibilities
- Transform business questions into structured briefs, clear analysis and actionable recommendations
- Build and maintain consistent, high-quality reporting dashboards using modern BI tools (Omni preferred)
- Develop self-serve analytics tools that empower stakeholders to explore data independently
- Support strategic analytics projects across the business, from customer intelligence to experimentation
- Partner closely with Product, Growth, Casino, Sportsbook, Commercial and Trading stakeholders
- Identify commercial trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis
- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to raising analytical maturity across the organization as it expands
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of data analytics experience with advanced SQL skills and strong analytical problem-solving capability
- Proven BI experience, ideally with Omni or Looker, taking dashboards from stakeholder discovery through to launch and iteration
- Commercially minded approach with strong curiosity and customer focus
- Ability to independently structure analysis, tell clear data stories, and influence senior stakeholders
- Track record of building strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
- Pragmatic, collaborative, outcome-oriented problem-solving approach
- Betting or gaming industry experience strongly preferred
- Exposure to dbt, analytics engineering, conversational analytics or Python is a bonus
